our philosophy
We hold a long standing philosophy of promoting children’s early learning through play.
We believe that early play opportunities - where children can explore, be creative and imaginative and active in their learning - are vital to their development. This view is supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which promotes the importance of these play experiences in order to build a solid foundation for future learning and development of each individual child.
We feel strongly that children’s involvement in their play leads to high levels of well-being. In our nursery qualified and experienced Early Years Educators will work closely with your child to support and extend their learning and development.

Our practitioners draw on a range of reputed early years theorists such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Hygge in the Early Years and The Curiosity Approach in order to give children opportunities to shape their own learning.
Our practitioners aim to support children to develop their views through discussions, interactions, and observations in order to gain a deeper understanding of what your child needs to be successful.
helping your child to grow
As your child grows we will help to prepare them for their transition to school by placing an increased emphasis on school readiness, for example through early maths and phonics, as well as turn taking, self-care and sitting quietly for short periods of time.
We will work with you, local schools and other professionals to support your child to have the best possible start at school.
